Through comprehensive, advanced hunter safety training, our Vision is to ensure that the days we’re out hunting with our dogs and our friends will be some of the best of our lives.

Co-Founder and President, John Swindle
Colorado resident John has a background in sales management, overseeing sales teams, ensuring companies continuously developed technologically advanced and safe products for users in dynamic industries.
Recently retired from the corporate world, John now dedicates himself to hunting with his gun dog ,Doc. John has actively pursued hunt test titles for Doc and his past dog, Wyatt. Doc currently has one of the highest titles in a National Association and is an AKC Master Hunter. Additionally, John served as a past President and Vice President of a hunt club in Colorado.
Throughout years of hunting, John has encountered risky situations among fellow hunters including witnessing a friend’s highly titled dog being fatally injured by an uninformed and inadequately safety-educated hunter during a pheasant hunt. Additionally, John has mourned the loss of three individuals in the field during bird hunting, including a close friend in 2023.
Through extensive experience hunting with gun dogs, John identified a notable gap in available safety programs not being tailored to the dynamic environment of hunting with both dogs and people. Consequently, driven by a desire to affect change, John, in partnership with Greg Art (below), established this company to address the pressing need for higher safety standards in the context of hunting with gun dogs.
With a sincere commitment to make a substantial impact, John is motivated to prevent others from experienceing the loss of a friend or cherished gun dog due to preventable incidents in the field.
